How We're Involved in Our Community

• Making Science Fun with Weatherschool
  We partner with KFOR-TV to offer Weatherschool, a program that promotes weather education and science learning.
• Giving Teachers Their Air Time with "Teacher Feature"
  Together with KMGL Magic 104.1 radio, we sponsor the "Teacher Feature", which recognizes outstanding teachers.
• Recognizing Exceptional Teachers with "Teacher of the Game"
  We are proud to provide sponsorship throughout the year for each "Teacher of the Game" winner at each Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball game.
• Promoting Higher Reading Skills with "Read to Achieve"
  Our "Read to Achieve" initiative with the OKC Thunder Basketball Team allows us to provide a "Reading Time Out" and the "Rolling Thunder" book bus that makes several stops each week at schools and other organizations.
• Shaping The Leaders of Tomorrow at Buchanan Elementary School
  Over 30 American Fidelity colleagues offer weekly tutoring and reading support to Buchanan Elementary School.
• Opening Our Doors for Wilson Elementary School
  When Wilson Elementary School added a full-day kindergarten class, they were faced with spacing issues for continuing a Pre-K program. We converted vacant office space at our home office for use as a classroom.
