The Association Worksite Division continued to improve upon past success by turning in yet another strong
financial performance in 2008. We focused our sales efforts, diversified our product mix and continued to
improve our operational efficiencies.
In 2008, our sales team worked to further strengthen our knowledge base by seeking continued education
opportunities that allow us to better serve Customers. Training is key to our sales efforts and serves as a
benchmark of our salaried field distribution team.
We achieved solid growth in our individual products. This creates balance within our portfolio and meets an increasing Customer demand.
Our division continued to be a leader in utilizing technology to improve operational efficiencies. The majority
of our business is processed in a No Hands, No Touch fashion. This increased effectiveness allows us to better
serve our Customer through the rapid issue and delivery of policies and certificates.

We will never stop improving upon our high standard of operation, working to always improve sales, operational efficiency and innovation.
Placing our Customers and their needs at the forefront, continued focus will be placed on the
auto market and Section 125 services. Such focus positions us to secure new groups, further permeate existing groups
and advance relationships with employers and association partners.
AWD looks to technology to boost productivity and efficiency gains. Online billing, electronic
certificate delivery and further development of our Integrated Call Center will drive future success.
