Q: How do I sign up for the Online Account Billing Center?
A: From the AFAdvantage home page, click "Get an activation code" and follow the step by step instructions.
Q: What is the benefit of online billing reconciliation?
A: American Fidelity's goal is to make bill reconciliation easier for you, our Customer. Our
new web-based bill is easy to review and easy to make your bill changes via a web-based bill. You
can reconcile and save your changes until you are ready to submit your final bill changes to AFA. You
will now also have the option to pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which ensure your payment will
be received by us quickly and effectively. Because we can now receive your bill changes quicker, we will
be able to apply those bill changes in our system upon receipt of premium, faster than in the past. Plus,
you're helping with the "go green" initiative by eliminating paper bills!
Q: Can I have my bill sorted in a special order?
A: Yes, the online bill offers the flexibility of sorting your bill by employee
last name, social security number, or product.
Q: Will I still get paper bills?
A: That's the beauty of Accountability™. You have full control over paper bills! You
will no longer receive a monthly bill in the mail. Instead, you will be notified by e-mail
when your bill is ready to view online. There is also the option of printing your bill directly from the website.
Q: When will the online billing start?
A: Early sign up is available in April 2009.
Q: Can I still use the Excel billing system?
A: Yes, an enhanced version of this option will be available.
Q: How can I learn more about the online billing system?
A: Contact our Customer Service Department using the "Contact Us" link.
Q: What are my available payment options?
A: Check and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - You may select a date for the funds to be
drawn from your designated bank account to be within 14 calendar days of the date you select 'submit payment'.
Q: If there are no changes to my bill, do I have to access the bill to submit a payment?
A: No, just click 'submit payment' on the Online Billing Main page.
