Dependent Verification Review
To help keep your medical insurance costs accurate and efficient, we can conduct a dependent verification review to verify the eligibility of participating dependents, according to your negotiated contract language. This beneficial service can cut costs by eliminating non-qualified dependents from your medical and dental plans often leading to fewer future premium increases and reduce overall risk experience.
During the review, we will:
- Review submitted employee documentation, such as: marriage licenses, birth certificates, college transcripts, first page of current tax forms, state certificates, guardianship papers.
- Conduct private, individual interview sessions with all benefit-eligible employees.
- Obtain a "Dependent Eligibility Form" from every benefit-eligible employee, signed by them and their Account Manager. The signed forms are then given to you, along with a report of the completed review.
- Provide periodic progress reports and status updates, a well as "Subsequent Maintenance Reviews" to continue to validate dependent eligibility. Maintenance reviews can be conducted annually based upon pre-determined criteria to ensure regular reviews of each employee's dependent eligibility.
