Health Flexible Spending Accounts (Unreimbursed Medical)

A Health Flexible Spending Account (Health FSA) allows your employees to elect an amount to be withheld from their paycheck each month. The funds are deposited into American Fidelity’s non-interest bearing account and the employee can use their contributions to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Health FSA Debit Card
Add a simple, convenient perk to your employee benefit package with a Health FSA Debit Card. The card gives employees immediate access to their funds at the point of sale, making it easier to pay for prescriptions, co-pays and other common medical expenses.

We will ensure that resources are in place to cover your employees’ full annual Health FSA expense reimbursement (as required by the uniform coverage risk rule).

Uniform Coverage Risk Insurance
American Fidelity offers risk insurance that can limit your exposure to the uniform coverage risk rule.

Direct Deposit of Reimbursement
We can directly deposit the participant's reimbursement into their banking account, eliminating the need to deposit a paper check.

Secured Account Access
Flex participants can sign up for secured access to review their Flexible Spending Account information, including claims received and processed, available balance and more.
